Andhra Pradesh hosts several major ports on India's east coast, including Visakhapatnam — India's third largest state-owned port — along with Kakinada, Krishnapatnam and Gangavaram.
Kakinada Port is located at Kakinada off the east coast of India. It is 170 km south of Visakhapatnam Port and is a large complex serving the region.
